90’s Rave Ride with Keith Allott – Thursday

The ‘Rave Ride’ will take in iconic venues from Leicester’s rich history of rave and house music within the underground electronic scene of the late 1980’s to mid 1990’s.

We’ll visit eleven venues across the city centre and discover the history of the buildings that housed nights such as Nemesis, Total Kaos, Head, Die Hard, Bliss and Beef.

You will hear music from the sets played across the city and have a chance to hold the flyers and artwork from that time. The ‘Rave Ride’ will be a nostalgic trip down memory lane and a treat for the senses taking you back to the days of DJ’s and MC’s, smiley acid faces, whistle posses and strobe lights and lasers. Hold Tight, Ravers!!

The ride will leave from the Bike Park at Town Hall Square at 1pm and will last approximately two hours.
